    Barb,

     

    I am sorry you are having problems with your Pro-Stitcher.  Make sure you are on the latest version of software (ending in .0457).  If you are updated and still having please call our Technical Solutions team at 1-877-697-8458, M-F, 8-5 MDT.

    I have the same issue and have the latest sofitware using the Avante and Pro-Stitcher Premium. I select the Advance button and load using both the machine and the other button but it still air stitches. And according to the screen where it says the type of stitch I am using air stitch is not selected.

    I listed my issue in another section. Here is what it is:

    I have an issue that Chelcie responded but I don't think it has anything to do with cropping. I didn't crop on the last two quilts and had the similar issue as listed in the technical issue that dduran had with the motor error and needle not stitching. Here is what mine does: I have a similar issue with my Avante.  I can tell when it will happen because it makes a different sound and speeds up. I press pause and I cannot get it to stitch after that. It air stitches and the only way I can keep going is to turn off the machine and pull out the plug in back then restart the machine. At least this way I don't have to restart the software.  But I still have to line up the pattern to my quilt which takes time. Yesterday it took me seven hours to finish a quilt that should have taken less than three hours.  I am very frustrated. I don't use free motion so I don't know if it will do it without the software.
