    I just upgraded the software on my Amara and am having the same issue.  Nothing I have done has fixed the issue and I can't quilt as none of the buttons work.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    My issue is isolated to the handlebars. I unplugged the right side and no change. I replugged the right and unplugged the left and the buttons worked again.  I finally got through to support (happened to call the day that their phone system went down). They sent me a replacement handle bar set. But in the meantime I have been quilting with only the right side plugged in.  I never used the buttons on the left side anyway so I have been doing OK in the interim.
