    Dear June,

I am sorry to hear that you are having issue with your machine.  Here are a few tips to try for your thread breaking:  Loosen your upper tension slightly.  Make sure you are using the correct size needle for the thread that you are using.  Check for lint in the thread guides or tension disks and clean out if you find any.  Rotate your needle slightly to the right to the 5:30 position.  Hopefully one of these will help correct the thread breaking issue.  If you are still having trouble, please contact your local retailer about having your machine serviced.

For the Pro-Stitcher questions, here are some options to try:  Update your Pro-Stitcher to the current version available here: https://hqprostitcher.com/software-update/  Also, when you are shutting down your Pro-Stitcher and machine, make sure to shut down your Pro-Stitcher first (go to the File Tab, then Shutdown, choose Shutdown from the drop-down menu) completely first, then shut down your machine from the back.  When turning on your longarm, do the same in reverse (machine first, Pro-Stitcher second.)  You can always contact your local retailer with questions or call us at 801.292.7988 and talk to Technical Solutions or Education.

    Best Regards,
