    Dear Donna,

Here are a few tips to try:1.Loosen your top tension. 2.Check for lint in your tension disks. 3.Check for lint in your bobbin spring. 4.Make sure your bobbin is wound properly - not too tight or too loose, and it is winding evenly and not stacking on one side. 5.Make sure the bobbin thread is properly placed in the tension spring in the bobbin.  If none of these work, we would recommend that you take it in to your local retailer for service.

Would any of these 5 issues cause it to skip?

    Donna -

If you having issues with skipped stitches, here are some tips to try: Have you replaced your needle? Remember, every new project deserves a new needle! Try rotating your needle eye slightly to the 6:30 position.  Make sure your tension is not too tight.  Check your machine carefully that it is threaded correctly.  If none of these tips solve your issue, it may be time to take your machine in to have it serviced.  Please contact your local retailer.

The only thing that I have found to help the loose threads is instead of pushing the needle al the way in the shank if I let the needle down a very little it is much better. Have you heard or seen this problem before?

I am glad to hear that you have figured out how to make your machine work.
